Well done to all of our students who took part in the gradings with Nobuaki Kanazawa Kancho over the weekend.
A special congratulations goes to all those who took their Dan grade examinations, with a very special acknowledgment going out to our two new Shodans, Khines O’Brien and Theia Harris. Reaching Shodan is a significant milestone, however, this is only where the real Karate-Do journey begins.
We also have to acknowledge the incredible effort shown by those who took Kyu gradings. Preparing for a grading demands focus and discipline, and every one of you demonstrated commitment and the spirit of Karate-Do. Respect to everyone who had the courage to test themselves. Grading is more than just a result. Everyone who graded deserves recognition for having the courage to test themselves and continue their karate journey.
“The ultimate aim of Karate lies not in victory or defeat, but in the perfection of the character of its participants” – Gichin Funakoshi
The success of Mayfield Renshukan Karate Club is rooted in our commitment to preserving the traditions, values and philosophy of Hirokazu Kanazawa Soke and Shotokan Karate-Do. The standard displayed throughout the weekend was proof of the dedication shown in the Dojo week after week.
Once again, the camaraderie, support and club spirit shown throughout the weekend were, as always…exceptional. Standing together, encouraging one another and representing Mayfield Renshukan Karate Club with pride.
Once again, well done and congratulations to every one of you. You have done Mayfield Renshukan proud.
Oss!
