A huge congratulations are in order to everyone who successfully passed their gradings under Murakami Shihan. A very special congratulations goes to Warren Lahive, who successfully passed his Shodan grading. Warren passed with flying colours, his commitment and spirit are an inspiration to everyone in Mayfield Renshukan. Reaching Shodan is a significant milestone, however, this is only where the real journey begins. Warren has also represented Ireland at the 16th SKIF European Championships in Crete earlier this year, earning a silver medal in the Junior Boys’ Team Kata event. He is also the current SKIF Ireland Junior Boy’s National Kata Champion.
The success of our Club is rooted in our commitment to preserving the traditions, values and philosophy of Hirokazu Kanazawa Soke and Shotokan Karate-Do.
While acknowledging Warren’s accomplishment, we must also acknowledge the efforts of all our students who successfully passed their Kyu gradings with Murakami Shihan. Your hard work in preparing for the grading shows your commitment to continuous improvement. Every one of you demonstrated technique, strength and most importantly the true spirit of Karate-Do.
The impressive display of camaraderie and club spirit as always was amazing. You’ve truly done Mayfield Renshukan proud.
Remember, grading is more than just an exam, it is a reflection of all the hard work that you put in in the Dojo week after week. We look forward to seeing everyone continue to train hard and challenge themselves in the months and years ahead. Once again congratulations to you all. Well done.
Oss!
